Most standard label materials aren’t opaque enough to fully block-out underlying text and images.
Our blockout labels utilise a Black coating on the back of the label material, as opposed to a standard clear or white one.
This creates an opaque barrier, preventing light from passing through the label.
The facesheet is a standard, bright white label that will help colours stand out, scanners read barcodes, and products fly off the shelves.
Permanent A4 cover-up Blockout labels are perfect for the following applications:
Covering up dispatch information on boxes
Making use of old tubes and packaging
Concealing outdated information
Masking printing mistakes
Fixing grammatical errors and typos
Safeguarding confidential information
Updating barcodes and QR codes
Common uses for A4 Correction Labels
The most common use for A4 blockout labels if to change the barcode on a product that has been printed incorrectly. Sometimes the product box may be printed incorrectly or the barcode may just not scan well enough.
A quick and easy solution is to reprint the barcodes onto a blockout label material to cover up the mistake & to correct it at the same time. Also usually saving the costly job of re order & reprinting the Boxes.
Our blockout labels have a special grey/blue backing to the face material that will allow you to cover up any incorrect printing or text. The opaque adhesive layer does not let through anything beneath so our customers often use these blockout labels for renewing out of date information, or for reusing packaging with a incorrect phone number or address on.
