Peel & Reveal Labels

Peel & Reveal Labels are multi-layer labels that provide extra printable space without increasing the size of your packaging. Also known as peel-back labels or extended content labels, the top layer lifts to reveal ingredients, instructions, translations, safety information or promotional content beneath.

We can produce up to three-ply constructions with as many as five printed panels. The best construction depends on the amount of information required, the label size and how the finished label needs to open and reseal.

They are commonly used for cosmetics, skincare, food and drink, supplements, household products, chemicals, pet care and promotional campaigns. They are ideal wherever additional ingredients, instructions, regulatory text, multilingual information or hidden content is required.

Material options include white and clear films, waterproof synthetic stocks, metallic substrates, recycled papers, textured papers and premium matt or gloss finishes. We can recommend the most suitable material for your packaging, environment and application method.

Waterproof synthetic and laminated options are available for products exposed to moisture, condensation, oils or frequent handling. The correct material and adhesive will depend on the container and conditions in which the product is used.

Yes. High-opacity white ink can be printed beneath colours or text on clear, metallic and tinted materials. This keeps artwork bright, crisp and easy to read while allowing selected areas of the material to remain visible.

Yes. Variable data printing can be used for unique QR codes, barcodes, serial numbers, batch information, personalised content, flavours, designs or promotional codes across the same production run.

Yes. QR codes and barcodes can be printed on the outside or concealed beneath the peelable layer. We can also produce unique codes on every label for tracking, competitions, authentication or customer engagement.

Yes. Labels can be supplied on rolls with the correct winding direction, leading edge, gap, core size and maximum roll diameter for compatible automatic or semi-automatic application equipment.

Yes, subject to the available label area and the container shape. We regularly produce multi-layer labels for bottles, jars, tubs and other curved packaging and can advise on size, construction, adhesive and peel direction.

Yes. Samples and short test runs can be produced so you can assess the size, material, fit, opening action and finished appearance before approving a larger production order.

Yes. Our team can check panel alignment, bleed, safe areas, peel direction, artwork positioning and technical setup. We can also help prepare artwork where additional design support is required.

Minimum quantities depend on the label size, construction, material and finish. Digital production makes shorter runs possible, so send us your requirements and we will provide the most cost-effective option.

Most Peel & Reveal Label orders are produced within approximately 7–10 working days after artwork approval. More complex constructions, materials or embellishments may require additional production time.

Yes. Integrated tactile warning triangles and raised tactile varnish options are available for applicable hazardous products. We can advise on the appropriate position and construction for your packaging.

Peel & Reveal Labels use peelable printed layers to create additional panels within a compact construction. Booklet labels generally contain a folded leaflet beneath an outer label and are better suited to much larger amounts of text.
