Choosing the right candle label size is about balance. Your label needs enough room for branding and important information, without overpowering the jar. Use this guide to compare popular candle-container sizes with the closest practical sizes from our own stock range.
These are starting points only. Candle jar capacities are not standard physical dimensions, so always measure the actual flat area of your container.
Select the closest jar capacity below. We’ll show a small number of sensible Go2Products stock sizes rather than filling the page with every label we manufacture.

Measure only the usable flat area — not the full outside dimensions of the jar.
The most reliable way to choose a candle label is to measure the exact area where the label will sit. Curved shoulders, tapered glass and rounded bases can reduce the usable space.
Measure horizontally across the usable flat face of the jar.
Measure vertically between the point where the jar starts to curve at the top and bottom.
A label slightly smaller than the available area usually looks cleaner and is easier to apply.
Many candle makers use more than one label. Separating branding, safety information and scent identification often produces a cleaner finished product.
Use the front for your logo, fragrance name and the information customers should see first.
Smaller rectangles work well for supporting information without overcrowding the front.
Round labels are a simple way to add branding or identify fragrances on candle lids and tins.
For larger candle jars, use a bigger front label or a more distinctive shape.
