What are cosmetic peel & reveal labels?
They are multi-layer labels that provide additional printable panels within the same label footprint. Can they include full INCI ingredient lists?
Yes. Peel & reveal labels are ideal when a full INCI declaration, directions, warnings or other information will not comfortably fit on a standard single-layer cosmetic label.
How many printed panels can you produce?
We can produce constructions with up to five printed panels. The most suitable construction depends on the label size, container, amount of information and required opening method.
Which cosmetic products are they suitable for?
Applications include skincare, moisturisers, face creams, serums, oils, lotions, shampoos, conditioners, makeup, soaps, bath products, haircare, aromatherapy and luxury beauty collections.
Are cosmetic peel & reveal labels waterproof?
Waterproof synthetic materials and protective laminates are available for products exposed to moisture, oils, condensation or frequent handling.
Can you print white ink on clear labels?
Yes. High-opacity white ink can be used beneath colours and text on clear or metallic materials, helping artwork remain vibrant while selected areas can retain a transparent or metallic appearance.
What premium finishes are available?
Options include gold and silver foil, spot UV varnish, raised varnish, matt and gloss laminates, metallic effects and specialist materials.
Can you make custom shapes and sizes?
Yes. Labels can be produced in round, oval, square, rectangular and custom die-cut shapes to suit the available area on your cosmetic packaging.
Can they work on small or curved containers?
Yes, subject to the available label area and container shape. We can advise on size, material, adhesive, construction and peel direction for small bottles, jars, tubes and curved packaging.
Can cosmetic peel & reveal labels be machine applied?
Yes. They can be supplied on rolls with suitable winding direction, leading edge, gap, core size and maximum roll diameter for compatible automatic or semi-automatic application equipment.
Can every label contain a different QR code or batch number?
Yes. Variable data printing can be used for unique QR codes, barcodes, serial numbers, batch information and promotional codes.
Can I request samples before a full production run?
Yes. Samples or short test runs can help assess the material, size, fit, opening action, print quality and finished appearance before proceeding with a larger order.
Can you help with the artwork?

What is the minimum order quantity?

How long does production take?
Most cosmetic peel & reveal label orders are produced in approximately 7–10 working days after artwork approval. More complex constructions, specialist materials or embellishments can require additional time.
What is the difference between peel & reveal and booklet labels?
Peel & reveal labels use peelable printed layers to add several panels in a compact construction. Booklet labels contain a folded leaflet and are generally better suited when a substantially larger amount of information must be included.
